BitcoinProof

Audit-ready Bitcoin evidence for your professional practice.

Independent self-custody verification reports your clients can include in their tax filing or audit documentation. Built for the regulatory tailwind — CARF and DAC8 (2026), Box 3, SMSF, and Wwft requirements.

A real verification report generated from MVP data. Evaluate the output your clients would attach to a filing or hand to an auditor.

Independently reproducible

Every BitcoinProof report shows the wallet descriptors, the block height at the reporting date, the exact UTXOs in scope, and a deterministic hash of the report inputs. An independent auditor can re-verify the result against public blockchain data — no trust in BitcoinProof required.

Why advisers trust the output

Open audit reproducibility

Every report includes the exact inputs. Re-run the verification yourself against public chain data and reach the same result.

Public source code (coming)

Source code will be published in due course. For now, BitcoinProof's methodology is fully described and reproducible from public blockchain data.

No cloud, no servers

Your clients' descriptors stay on their machine. BitcoinProof runs entirely locally — no upload, no SaaS, no custody of keys.

BIP322 ownership attestation

Sign a verification message with the same keys that hold the Bitcoin — proof of control, not just knowledge of a balance. Coming in v1.1.

Built for your clients' filings

Box 3 (Netherlands)

Wealth-tax filing requires the 1 January valuation of all assets. BitcoinProof generates a peildatum snapshot your client can attach to their belastingaangifte — reproducible evidence instead of a screenshot.

SMSF (Australia)

The ATO requires SMSF trustees to provide independent evidence of self-custody Bitcoin holdings at 30 June. BitcoinProof reports are built for SIS Reg 8.02B audit documentation — objective, supportable, reproducible.

Wwft compliance (Netherlands)

AML / KYC source-of-wealth files require verifiable proof of Bitcoin holdings and their provenance. BitcoinProof reports provide cryptographic reproducibility for due-diligence dossiers.
